Last week, Triton proudly launched OPTICS, our cutting-edge AI machine vision platform, at Foodtech Packtech in Auckland (2–4 September).
We were thrilled to welcome the largest turnout ever, with many of our New Zealand red meat customers joining us to see firsthand how OPTICS can transform plant operations. Conversations throughout the event centered on how OPTICS can be seamlessly integrated into processing environments—delivering labour savings, improved accuracy and compliance, and increased productivity across every stage of operations.

At the show, we showcased various applications of the OPTICS platform, including:
Livestock Counting – Automated counting for lamb and sheep, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Cut & Piece Identification – Integrated into a standard Triton cut weigh-label station to improve efficiency and compliance.
Pose Detection – Recognising human poses, with the ability to trigger automated functions through Triton’s FUSION software.
