After an extremely challenging year Triton and our team would like to wish you and your families a safe and happy festive season. I think we all deserve it!
Our offices will close from Christmas Eve through till 11th January 2021. For those companies working through, we have a skeleton team working and our afterhours support line will continue to be staffed for your support needs.
Quick Update
With the year starting in typical fashion, once the gravity of Covid was upon us, the landscape changed very quickly. Like most businesses, we had to move and adapt to a work from home situation rapidly and for our New Zealand offices that meant a 48-hour notice to do so. The business operations were able to transition with relative ease, although for staff working from home, there were undoubtedly some environmental challenges to overcome!
Thankfully both the Australian and New Zealand governments classified us an essential service. Of course, this meant we were able to attend sites where necessary and with our staffing levels in each country, we completed site visits as required even during the peak of the lockdown.
We also managed to deliver new installations and projects during 2020, including two export small stock abattoirs and a boning room automation project that focussed on automated carton weigh labelling including MAF seal application.
During the lockdown, we also took the opportunity to roll out our new business management solution with integrated systems from support desk, inventory, sales, projects and accounting. The outcome is a significantly more transparent and streamlined experience for our customers in their dealings with us through the various channels.
Software
FUSION, our fully integrated cloud solution continues to flourish.
Livestock bookings and receipts allow seamless generation of farmer feedback or buyer created invoices against a payment schedule. We hold considerable carcase characteristics including farm data, animal health, yield (DEXA), intermuscular fat (IMF) and post chill weight data against each animals passport. This allows us to add additional dimensions to payment grids and utilise premiums/penalties to reward farmers for the optimum stock required.
Production, Sales and Inventory are all held in a single snapshot for remote office workers along with consolidation for multi-site operations.
Online Store
The online store is near completion. In Q1 2021 it will launch with an extensive range of hardware solutions and items specifically for our customer base in meat and food processing. Stay tuned for some exciting opening specials!
Wrapping Up
All in all, it’s been a year like no other for the team at Triton, and we anticipate some exciting things to come in 2021.
Myself and the team wish you and your families all the best for the festive season and sincerely wish you all the best for 2021.
Sincerely,
Michael Burke
