The Game Meats Company of Australia located in Myrtleford Victoria, experienced a fire in their administration offices recently. Luckily owner, Robert Cavedon who lives close by heard the fire alarm during the night and was able to quickly stop the fire spreading to the plant and amenities.
The plant refrigeration control systems and IT infrastructure were damaged meaning that to get the plant operational, these areas needed to be restored.
Early the following morning, Plant Manager Rick Cavedon made contact with his local Triton support consultant and together they hatched a plan to get the plant operational. Experienced Triton consultant Brad Faunt arrived to site that afternoon with new workstations and network infrastructure that was commissioned that afternoon/evening and systems restored from backup’s. After a long day the plant was ready to recommence operations and was back fully functional within 48 hours of the fire.
“Game Meats have a long, successful association with Triton dating back to late 1990’s. We have a great partnership with Triton and it’s at times like this that makes us really appreciate what they do for us. I can honestly say we would not have resumed operations so quickly if Brad had not been available the morning after our fire and the interruption to our business would have been much worse” Rick said.
